Zagreb Airport Transfer

ORGANIZED TRANSFERS

For all congress participants arriving via Zagreb International Airport, the transfer to Opatija is organized for the 15th, 16th and 17th September 2017 and the 21st September 2017 at a reduced price at 15 EUR one way, per person for Congress participants.

In order to use the Zagreb International Airport – Opatija – Zagreb International Airport transfers, it is necessary to apply via the Transfers, Tours & Gala dinner application form on the top of the page.

Zagreb Airport Transfer fee for the Congress participants is 15 EUR one way, per person.

Upon your arrival to Zagreb International Airport, Dubrovnik Sun staff will assist you at your flight exit (after you go through immigration), holding the WFNN 2017 Congress LOGO, and will provide pleasant, safe transportation to your hotel.

The transfer departure times from Zagreb International Airport to you hotel in Opatija will be posted on the Congress website seven (7) days prior to arrival and will be sent to you on the e-mail address you provided in the on-line registration form.

The transfer departure time from your hotel back to Zagreb International Airport will be posted at the Congress info desk.


INDIVIDUAL ARRIVALS (not taking congress transfer)

All congress participants who do not arrive and depart from Zagreb International Airport on above stated dates are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from Opatija.

Rijeka Airport Transfer

INDIVIDUAL ARRIVALS

Rijeka airport is a smaller airport with less connections, but the closest airport to the city of Opatija. Please note, THERE ARE NO CONGRESS ORGANIZED SHUTTLES from this location. You will need to arrange your own transport.

Transfers from Rijeka to Opatija can be found at the airport.
Croatia Airlines flights from Munich (Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday) and London Heathrow (Wednesday).
There are also direct flights by German Wings (Koln, Hamburg, Stuttgart) and by Ryan Air (London-Stansted and Stockholm Skavsta).

Island of Krk is:

Among the towns on the island, the City of Krk (Krk Town) is considered the centre. The status has been there from the beginnings of life on the island, and it is justified with an urbanised look and town features.

Krk City is a fortified town even today, with walls along its entire length. The town is entered through four doors and there are small and big streets, stopping when a detail attracts attention. The most important heritage in the town is certainly the sacred complex of three churches with the cathedral which was built over the leftovers of Roman thermae from the 5th century; Franciscan and Benedictine monastery with churches (12th and 13th century), archaeological locality Volsonis under the main town square and your personal exploration of details which will make Krk City the charming place you’ve been looking for.
